THE PASS by Rebecca Jenshak

Release Date: December 8th

I've been in love with her for two years.

The first time around I screwed things up. I hesitated and the moment was gone.

I passed when I shouldn't have.

Not a total loss. I gained a best friend instead of whatever we might have been.

Sydney is hands down the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I'll do anything to keep her in my life. Even bury my feelings deep inside.

But one hot summer together at the lake filled with lots of teeny-tiny bikinis and I'm ready to risk it all for a second chance.

It's time to take my shot.

🌟🌟🌟🌟

A sweet and sexy best-friends-to-lovers romance.

”How did I get friend zoned by a girl that by her own words had been dying to meet me for an entire year?”

When Tanner Shaw first spots Sydney Turner, he’s smitten. However, one slightly awkward moment has him backing off and, somehow or other, he misses his chance with her and ends up in the friend zone.

Sydney has had a crush on Tanner for about a year. They share a class together but he doesn’t seem to realise that she exists until a pool party at his house. However, her trust issues has her making one small mistake and, somehow or other, she misses her chance with him and ends up in the friend zone.

”The only person I’ve ever really been able to picture in my life forever is you.”

Two years later, they are the very best of friends and have seen each other through a lot of tough times and various boyfriends and girlfriends. Now, summer has arrived and Sydney finds herself heading to Tanner’s lakeside house for a month, and one dare has them shifting gears.

”His mouth slams onto mine catching me by surprise but breaking the small amount of control I was holding up.”

This was a fab, feel-good read. I loved Tanner and Sydney’s connection and when they finally give in to the chemistry that’s always been between them, they are HOT! They were always super close and, honestly, I don’t know how they kept their true feelings buried deep down because they were so in sync with one another that it was obvious to anyone who saw them that they belonged together as a couple. A thoroughly enjoyable read!
