Synopsis:

“I love being naked. Naked is awesome.” ~Cooper Miles

Life used to be an endless party. I worked hard and played harder (as often as possible). But things change—people change—and lately the party life isn’t doing it for me.

Enter Amelia. It isn’t every day that you meet a girl in a wedding dress in a bar. A girl whose life just took a sharp left turn she wasn’t expecting.

Kissing her? It’s no big deal—totally just for fun. She’s had one hell of a day, and a little kissing lesson by Cooper is bound to make her feel better. Getting in a little dig at the dumbass who left her at the altar is a bonus.

The invitation back to her hotel? That, I wasn’t expecting.

Saying yes to her is reckless. Not because I’m a stranger to a one-night-stand. And not because she’s in a wedding dress, and the words this is my first time cross her lips.

Saying yes to Amelia is reckless because she’s making me feel things I’ve never felt before—big things. Nothing scares me. But this girl? She might be magic, and I have no idea what to do with that.

Caroline's Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As Cooper Miles would say, this book was "awesome"!

"There was something happening inside of me. Sparks and crackles and pings of electricity."

Cooper is like an over-zealous but adorable puppy. He's just full-on hyperactive, big on fun and spontaneity, and he's a real ladies' man. However, since he lost his wingman, the fun seems to have gone out of the easy hook-ups. The moment he meets the girl in the white wedding dress on the barstool next to him, he knows that she's different from any woman he's ever met.

"I'm scared of you because I think you might be magic, and I don't know what to do with that."

Amelia finds herself shockingly unmarried on her wedding day. She escapes to a bar to drown her sorrows. Always the good girl, she impulsively gives in to her attraction to the gorgeous stranger next to her, who lights her up inside with an scorching kiss. One kiss leads to a sizzling night of passion, which leads to a "Cooper-moon".

This was such a fab story! I loved Cooper! His behaviour and attitude got on my nerves a bit in the last book, but I completely adored him in this book. I absolutely loved that Amelia seemed to be the toned down female version of him, and seemed to completely understand and get him. I loved her calming influence on him and, in turn, I enjoyed how he challenged her to push herself outside her comfort zone. He was so into her and I loved how beautiful he found her, when she felt inadequate and unattractive. They were a such a gorgeous, well-matched couple.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and there's a bit of a development in the storyline, which will continue in the next instalment in this series. I CANNOT wait for Leo's story. Love the Miles family!
