RE-RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Confessions of a Klutz by Abigail Davies

Title: Confessions of a Klutz
Series: Confessions Series Book 1
Author: Abigail Davies
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Re-Release Date: September 26, 2018

Confession One: I was a klutz.
I thought I’d grow out of it, but evidently I didn’t.
It’s not fun to look like a fumbling toddler when you’re twenty-six.

Confession Two: I had a standing appointment at the local ER.
It wasn’t by choice that I knew all the doctors names—it was necessity.
But that was about to change.

Confession Three: I hated the sun yet I lived in LA where it always shone.
I supposed that was one plus to being sent to New York for the next eight weeks.

That was until I got there.

Arm veins, dimples, and THE sexiest voice known to man were my weakness,
and he had every single one of them.

Confession Four: He was my new boss.

I could control myself though, right?
The city of dreams… a klutz’s worst nightmare.

Eight weeks. A klutz. And a drool worthy boss.

What did you get when you crossed a klutz with a GQ model lookalike?

Caroline's Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hah! Violet is funny, cringey and adorable! She's gorgeous, warm and a superklutz. LOL. Thoroughly enjoyed this story and her accident-prone romance with Mr Taylor.

"Was my boss giving me the eye? Because I was definitely giving it to him."

Violet has had a ton of jobs. She keeps getting fired because she's such a klutz. On her first day at her temporary secondment as assistant to the CEO, she manages to split her skirt right in front of him. Mr Taylor is model gorgeous but also somewhat forbidding and seems to constantly disapprove of her.

"Our eyes met, our lips centimeters apart. The air around us crackled, my body growing even hotter as his attention focused solely on me."

However, when one mishap ends up with her in the ER, Mr Taylor aka Axel, shows a softer side to his personality, as well as showing just how much he desires her.

This was such a funny story. Violet is a mess! She's painfully accident prone - literally. As I read this story, I kept waiting for something to happen to her. What I loved was how Axel seemed to be so in tune with her and took everything in his stride. She was such fun and I enjoyed how irreverently she treated him, and loosened him up. Great fun!

"One of my favourites for this year, Abigail Davies has delivered a fresh, filthy and supremely funny story." ★★★★★ Click Book Blog
"Refreshingly funny, Confessions of a Klutz is Abigail Davies first step into romcom, and she does not disappoint!" ★★★★★ Katie Fox, Author

Abigail Davies grew up with a passion for words, storytelling, maths, and anything pink. Dreaming up characters—quite literally—and talking to them out loud is a daily occurrence for her. She finds it fascinating how a whole world can be built with words alone, and how everyone reads and interprets a story differently. Now following her dreams of writing, Abigail has found the passion that she always knew was there. When she’s not writing: she’s a mother to two daughters who she encourages to use their imagination as she believes that it’s a magical thing, or getting lost in a good book. If she’s doing neither of those things, you can be sure she’s surfing the web buying new makeup, clothes, or binge watching another show as she becomes one with her sofa.
