Loved it! Insane chemistry, humour, and all the hotness!

When Zaxton Monroe rescues Aurelia Whitlock from a mugging, he has no idea who she is except the fact she must be one of his company's new interns. And, that he's instantly attracted to her. Aurelia is horrified to have seen Zaxton up close and personal on her very first day at Monroe Fashions because she'd been banking on never having to come into contact with the CEO. Now they've met and she's firmly on his radar, and when he finds out exactly who she is and how she got her position, he really should fire her. However, you know the adage about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer? Well, let's just say that this enemy he's keeping close is about to test his restraint to the limit.

These two were such fun and seriously hot! Zax was grumpy and curt, whilst Aurelia was pure sunshine but gave as good as she got. I loved her sassy mouth and her backbone. I adored how much light and happiness she brought into Zax's life. She made him feel so alive. In turn, I thrilled at how much Zax wanted to take care of her and be the rock in her life that she'd been missing for so long. It melted my heart that he saw beyond her beauty to the deep woman beneath. His words of adoration and love to her made me swoon! When things could have gotten really messy, I loved the belief they had in one another and that things would turn out okay. And, wowzers! The intense chemistry between them was like a pan of oil getting hotter and hotter until it starts to smoke and burst into flame! They way they riled each up, as well as the irresistible pull between them was compelling and addictive. This was my first time reading this author and I'm so looking forward to the rest of this series.
