Being in love with your best friend sucks. Being in love with your best friend while he’s dating your roommate sucks harder. It’s time I do something about it.

Stella
The moment ten-year-old me laid eyes on the scrawny new kid in school, I loved Jacob Gonzales. Over ten-years of friendship, my feelings have never wavered.
Why then, did I introduce him to my gorgeous roommate? Call it a momentary lapse in judgment. Now, not only do I get a front seat to their daytime PDA, I get it in stereo every night.
Fun times.
It’s past time I move on, so when a sexy as hell football player asks me out, I agree.
Problem is, Jacob doesn’t want to let me go.

Jacob
First game of the season and I’m left with a concussion, no girlfriend, and a best friend who seems to be pulling away, even as I try to get closer.
As if things couldn’t get worse, along comes Mr. All-American Cornerback who eyes Stella like she’s his next meal and sets my douchebag sensors on high-alert.
No way am I letting some idiot with a wanna-be anime haircut steal her away from me.
Because Stella is mine.
Even if she doesn’t know it yet.

Never Moving On is a spicy best friends to lovers college romance with an alpharoll hero, no cliffhanger an a guaranteed HEA.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a fab debut! Thoroughly enjoyed it. College, sports romances are my catnip and this one hit the spot for me.

"I'm sorry to break this to you, man. You don't treat her like just a friend."

Stella Leone and Jacob Gonzales have been best friends since they were kids. Their lives have been intertwined for ten years. They have an affectionate, tactile friendship but it's purely platonic. However, Jacob doesn't seem to realise that his best friend feels anything but platonic towards him and has to suffer through all his relationships. When his latest relationship with her friend and roommate goes south, and someone points out that his friendship with Stella is more than he thinks, he's suddenly seeing his best friend in a completely different light. Unfortunately, it looks like she's moving on.

"She belongs with me, belongs to me. And if that makes a domineering bastard, so be it. I don't care. Because I belong to her too."

I thought it was obvious from the little signs here and there that Jacob felt more than friendship for Stella. She has incredibly stoic in dealing with his relationships but I could understand why she put up with them - she loved him and wanted him to be happy, even if that meant it wasn't with her. But, goodness, she put up with a lot!! She was an excellent friend to everyone - caring, thoughtful and empathetic. Once their friendship stepped over the line, the two of them were fire! They already loved one another as friends but their intimacy added a whole other level. Jacob was a good guy but not flawless. He had his insecurities and vulnerabilities, and I thought that made him a very credible character. I adored the conclusion and how it became very clear that Stella was always the one for him.
