Review: Hollywood Prince by Kim Karr

Hollywood Prince

Hollywood Prince by Kim Karr

Brooklyn James should know better.
Born into Hollywood royalty, the brooding prince has a reputation as being a player. A manwhore. A womanizer.
Adoring fans are his thing.
His best friend’s little sister is not.
Even thinking about her the way he is isn’t cool.
Not cool at all.
And yet every time she pouts those sexy lips at him, she turns him inside out. Makes him harder than he’s ever been. Drives him to the brink of insanity.

Amelia Waters has always idolized her big brother, and the last thing she wants to do is disappoint him.
Falling for her brother's ex-roommate is off-limits.
She knows this, but she can’t help herself.
The way Brooklyn looks at her with those smoldering blue eyes makes her wet in an instant. Turns her into a shivering, shaking mess of sexual frustration. And soon the idea of spreading her legs for him is the only thing she can think about.

She wants him.
He wants her.

When they finally decide to give in to their insane attraction, they agree it will remain between them. That their illicit affair will be short-term. No strings. No baggage. No messy ending.

But when the first night of mind-blowing sex leads to another, and another still, how long can the endless hookups go on before Amelia’s brother finds out? Or worse yet, before feelings develop?

Brooklyn and Amelia know they need to walk away from each other before either of those things happens.

The problem is doing it.

Talk about a mess.

Hollywood Prince is a sexy, standalone, contemporary romance about a bad boy and the off-limits girl who steals his heart.

Caroline's Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Love comes in many different shades. Sometimes it’s consuming and violent, other times it’s goofy and messy, and sometimes it’s sweet and perfect.”

When Amelia Waters discovers news that turns her world upside down, she runs away across the country to find her brother, Cam, to verify the information. On arrival, she finds his house empty.

“Everything about her turns me on. Her perceived naiveté, and the sex kitten beneath it that I want desperately to explore. Her vibrancy and how contagious it is….Without even knowing it, she’s changing my life.”

When Brooklyn James finds a somewhat drunk, but somewhat beautiful girl on his best friend’s porch, his attraction to her is off the charts. When he realises that it’s little Amelia Waters, who was his first kiss, all grown up, he realises she’s strictly off-limits.

Amelia is a good girl, a people-pleaser, who’s walked the straight and narrow all her young life, who's dreamt of finding a Prince Charming to make her life complete. When the scales fall from her eyes, and she realises that everything she thought to be true is far from it, she wants to rebel in the best possible way and Brooklyn James, Hollywood bad boy and pantydropper, is top of her to-do list. Even though the perfect candidate for Mr Right is waiting for her back home.

““Everything about you is my business.” Game over. Right here. Right now.”

Brooklyn struggles each day to fight his growing attraction to Amelia because he knows he can’t be her Mr Right and give her the HEA that she dreams of, and plus there’s the issue of her brother, but an erotic night out blows his self-control to smithereens.

There’s plenty of sneaking around and hot stolen moments between them, as well as days of hanging out together under the guise of friendship. However, the clock’s ticking. Both Amelia and Brooklyn are at something of a crossroads in their lives, and they both begin to question whether their clandestine affair could become something much more worthwhile and lasting.

This story had humour, a great battle of conscience, irresistibility in spades, super sexy scenes, and a gorgeous ending. I adored it!
