NEW RELEASE & REVIEW: Cocky Rockstar: Gabriel by Faleena Hopkins

Cocky Rockstar: Gabriel (Cocker Brothers of Atlanta #10)

Cocky Rockstar: Gabriel (Cocker Brothers of Atlanta #10) by Faleena Hopkins

GABRIEL COCKER:
My publicist set this contest up. It’s one lucky fan and me plus dinner. Can’t wait until it’s over before it even began. But then there she is, Paige Miller… Biting her lip like she wants to run. A wounded bird in nude heels and a purple dress. Problem is, my cousin Ben saw this beauty first. He’s tracked us down at the restaurant. Can you believe the balls on this guy? Never had a woman come between us. But now it’s a battle between me and him. May the worst man win.
______________
This series is carefully written so that any book can be enjoyed first. 'Cocker Brothers of Atlanta' - six bad boy brothers, and now their amazing kids grown up years later.

* Gabriel is one of the twin boys born to Justin Cocker (Book 5 - Cocky Senator). You can read this novel first and not spoil an ounce of that story.

Caroline's Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a fun read!

“I kiss her and feel that same crazy sensation all over again, like this is right where I’m supposed to be.”

Gabriel Cocker is something of the black sheep in the family. He’s followed his own path to stardom but, at the same time, feels somewhat adrift and isolated from the rest of his family. He really misses his serious twin, Elijah, who’s on a completely different path to him. He can be quite bratty and rude, but he enjoys a good time and is far from settling down.

“I’ve never felt like this Gabriel. My heart is pounding too hard.”

Paige Miller ends up winning a date with Gabriel when her friend enters her into a competition over the radio. She has no interest in going because her life is pretty complicated to say the least. Before she even goes on her date with Gabriel, her life is further complicated when she has an encounter with Ben, Gabriel’s cousin, who is really taken with her.

Sparks fly during their date – and both find themselves feeling something that shakes them both to the core.

“When I said you’re mine, I meant it. That wasn’t just the heat of sex, talking. I’m claiming you, Beautiful.”

This was a fab story! Gabriel is cocky, arrogant, and can be a bit childish. Paige, as a yoga teacher, is kind of zen but also smart-mouthed and quick-witted. She absolutely knows how to handle Gabriel. The presence of Ben in the story throws another dynamic into the storyline. However, I loved how Gabriel was all in once he’d made up his mind about Paige.

As always, this story featured a lot of the Cocker family and portrayed the family dynamics. The prevailing truth about this huge family is that when the chips are down, they band together like no other family.

This was a sexy, heartwarming, amusing read. Can’t wait for the next one!
