REVIEW: Seth by V.A. Dold

35260399

Circumstances and heartbreak have driven Seth Le Beau to join the elite band of hunters. Shifters pledged to serve the Wolf Goddess, Luperca as her right hand, meting out justice to the shifters who go rogue.
The Goddess has one last assignment for Seth before he retires. The most challenging of his life with the highest stakes imaginable.
Sara Adams is a homicide detective, and a damn good one, too. Her brother, Grant was murdered by a rogue. Sara will be damned if the monster sees another day.
The dangerous life and death hunt is on, and only the strongest will survive.
Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana, where every myth and scary story you were ever told is real. A place where the things that go bump in the night, or daytime for that matter, are surprisingly friendly. For the most part.
Take a good look at your neighbor, the person sitting be.

Ahhhh, how I've missed the Le Beau's

We briefly met Seth in Richie's story, when he helped to keep Piper safe. After serving the Goddess Luperca he was ready to retire, but the Goddess had other ideas. Seth was going to be rewarded with finding his mate, who happened to be a very independent strong beautiful lady who they need to finish off a case that Sara was working on - to find the monster responsible for killing her brother.

I loved how they got on, with an immense respect and a blossoming love. Sara had every right to want to stay independent, but she soon came to realise there was far more to Seth than being a shifter.

He had led a very solitary life, with only his wolf for company, but he was happy with that, but we experienced his transition as he was blessed with meeting his mate.

This was a heartfelt story of not only self-discovery but acceptance of trust and love.

Its been a blast being back in the lives of the Le Beaus, long may it continue.
