Hot, sexy romance, about the hired help not wanting to take a new job, as it had some absurd requirements.

He was approached to help protect Julia and her daughter, Sydney. Julia needed to win the company where she was the current CEO, built by her father, but he never approved of Julia being a single mother. Although he did enjoy being grandpa to Sydney, but he was very ill, and for Julia to keep the Company, she needs to have a smoke and mirror situation with a fake husband. The hired help, Connor, was the security detail, but also went through with marrying Julia.

Connor decided to take the job offer, after meeting Sydney. It soon becomes apparent the feeling is mutual, even though they both tried denying their feelings.

After the wedding, there was a sinister twist in the proceedings - threats, danger and mystery took front and centre stage. So whilst Connor & Sydney were trying not to fall for each other, Connor had to take the security seriously.

It became quite dark for a while. Even though they had their suspicions, the truth still hurt.

The forbidden and taboo relationship between Connor and Sydney was scorching, the thrilling saga of the threats and the suspense of their budding relationship.
