Oh, and a twenty-something year old nursing student witnessing the entire thing from only a few feet away.
It only takes a second, a single heartbeat in time, as he looks into her worry-filled eyes to realize that he’d give anything for a single night with her. He may lose his job in the process, but after that one incredible night turns into an amazing weekend, he knows it’s worth the risk for the promise of her forever.

Tally, young single mother and student nurse, is about to start her last semester before graduating. On her first day back, she nearly runs over a biker with piercing blue eyes. When she ends up following him to the hospital, she realises he’s none other than sexy, bearded Dr Tommy AKA Dr Bones – known for his lady-boner-inducing powers!
“I tried not to think about her at all, but that was becoming harder and harder to make happen.”
Dr Tommy couldn’t stop thinking about the sexy student in his class. He knows she’s off-limits but his libido skyrockets around her. When he finds her arguing with her ex and father of her child, he intercedes on her behalf, and the dynamics start changing between them.
“She would try, of course, to leave. But I wouldn’t let her. Not now, not ten weeks from now when she graduated, and not ever. She was mine, and I was tired of fighting myself about it.”
Once they cross the line, there’s no going back for them – they just need to ride out Tally’s final weeks as a student before they can go public.
However, things are not plain sailing. Apart from the forbidden nature of their relationship, there’s a contentious ex and his new wife, a moody best friend, and also some bad blood between Tommy and Tally’s father.
This was my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was sexy, easy to read, and had enough intrigue and teasers to keep me glued to the page.
I loved Tally’s feistiness, independence and resilience. Tommy is a giant softie! His desire and possessive of her was hot, but his way with baby Tallulah really melted my heart!
I’ll definitely be reading more by this author.
